Ocean Meridiem – World of Wearable arts 2021 – The Beauty of Coral.

This website has been created to showcase Ocean Meridiem; A garment project with a design based on coral, showing it’s beauty as a natural phenomenon and biolumencese. The project has been started in connection with the designers’ Bachelor of Creative Technologies Studio Papers at AUT. It’s original timeline was set with the intention of entering into the 2020 World of Wearable Arts Competition in New Zealand. Though due to the COVID-19 outbreak both the completion of the garment and the competition have been postponed.

 

In light of these events we have decided to coalesce and refine all of our work into one place, creating a professional digital outreach and stage to showcase our garment journey.

 

The garment will continue to be worked on until completion and entry into the 2021 World of Wearable Art Competition.
